Whatever beast tide comes, I'll face it head on.

Shaken horse, old eight, you're a true man.

I admire you.

Alas, I have no hope left.

See you all in the next life.

Sorrowful egg yolk.

Stay optimistic.

Perhaps dying will allow us to exit the game and return to Earth.

Wong Lufi, hurry.

Say you want to survive.

Xiao's orphan.

I hope everyone can make it through.

Lover of cilantro.

Soon we'll be able to return home to eat cilantro.

Everyone must strive to survive.

With only one minute remaining, Bayou had already ascended to the castle walls, her gaze fixed on the horizon.

Today, she chose not to wear a dress for ease of movement.

All troops were to engage the enemy outside, and Bayou had no intention of remaining hidden within the fortress.

She was determined to repel the beast tide beyond the walls.

Bayou noticed the protective shield before her beginning to flicker.

As time dwindled, the frequency of the flickering increased, reminiscent of a light bulb on the verge of extinguishing.

Time 0 0 0.

As the shield pulsated with increasing intensity, it finally vanished completely.

In that instant, all lords lost their final bastion of hope and brace themselves to confront the unforgiving realm of magic.

The impending beast tide would mark the pivotal transition for all lord from noviceses to contenders in the grand struggle among myriad races.

Chapter 79.

Is this the beast tide? Thud, thud, thud.

The ground trembled, reminiscent of an army charging forth.

All the undead, including by you standing upon the castle walls, fixated their gaze ahead.

The mists that shrouded the magical continent dissipated as time struck midnight.

Indeed, these myths existed solely due to the presence of a lord rather than being a natural phenomenon of the magical realm.

By vision expanded, revealing a multitude of beasts that had appeared in the distance, most of which she had never encountered before, encircling the castle.

There were rhinoceroses clad in armor, towering gorillas over 3 m tall, vividly colored pythons, and even golden tabies.

These were merely the creatures whose appearances she could discern.

Numerous bizarre and unidentified species lurked among them.

Yet at this moment, they all shared a singular trait.

Their crimson eyes devoid of reason as they launched a fierce assault on by you's castle.

Enormous monstrous birds in the sky emitted beams while flocks of crows engaged in suicidal charges toward the castle.

"Kill!" cried Bayou, raising her small hand and fervor.

If this beast tide was the extent of their might, she would be sorely disappointed.

These creatures were merely of the ordinary level, lacking even the strength of a leader class.

In stark contrast, above you, hundreds of gargoyles flapped their wings, hovering in the air.

Alongside, countless ethereal spirits, and a dozen undead dragons.

On the ground, thousands of various undead forces amassed.

Bone beasts, werewolves, skeleton soldiers, zombies, and death knights.

This was the first time Bayou had gathered such a formidable legion of undead in her castle.

A spectacle far more awe inspiring than the beast tide itself.

A beast tide? Aist by you scoffed, eager to demonstrate to these wild creatures what a true tide entailed.

There was no need for defense.

It was time to unleash their fury.

As the foremost wave of beasts drew near, the undead clashed with them in fierce combat.

Though the beast tide appeared formidable, they could scarcely penetrate the defenses of the undead below, let alone contend with by you's aerial forces, which were the true backbone of her strength.

Bayou gazed upward from the castle walls, noticing that magical beasts were also charging down from the nearby snowcapped mountains.

Turning her head towards the dark forest behind the castle, she realized the same phenomenon was occurring there.

It seemed the beast tide was not as straightforward as she had envisioned.

The initial wave was likely the most mundane challenge all lords would face.

While subsequent waves would depend on the castle's location and overall strength, Bayou unleashed fire magic from the castle walls, striking at the beasts above.

With approximately 1/3 of her magical energy expended, she took out her scythe and utilized dark magic to teleport directly to the ground.

The strength of the beast tide was not overwhelming.

presenting Bayou with an excellent opportunity to hone her combat skills.

Furthermore, any magical beast she dispatched with her scythe would transform directly into undead, while the remains of other beasts would be summoned by the necromancers at top the walls.

Bayou's undead army would only grow stronger with each encounter.

For some lords, the beast hide might spell disaster, but for Bayou, it was a splendid opportunity for empowerment.

At level 9, the beast known as White Youth directly transforms into a skeletal beast, while all creatures below this level are summoned as ordinary undead.

These beasts, all under level 9, fall before White use enhanced capabilities, bolstered by the additional power from the throne of bones and the double attributes of the scythe.

Each strike is executed with such ease as if slicing through vegetables.

In this moment, Whiteu merely employs the sigh for the most basic of attacks, abstaining from magic, rendering the beast tide utterly defenseless.

Whiteu continues to methodically eliminate them one by one, while Arthur, with little regard for restraint, employs a withering space skill to obliterate vast sways of beasts in an instant.

As more monsters from the forbidding frozen mountains and the dark forest join the fry, the overall strength of the beasts escalates significantly.

As a leader, White U stands resilient, commanding the undead from behind.

A colossal white bear charges towards White U.

Its massive paws shattering skeletal warriors effortlessly.

The bear's crimson eyes reflect its lack of intelligence, relying solely on brute force for its attacks.

When the bear swipes at White U, she nimly evades, swinging her sythe, now ablaze, towards the creature.

The sound of the scythe ringing resonates, causing the bear's fierce gaze to soften momentarily with confusion.

Why am I here? It seems to ponder.

The side's assault follows swiftly, carving a deep gash into the bear's side, igniting its flesh into charred blackness.

In pain, the bear retaliates with a powerful swipe.

But White U has already vanished from sight.

Sensing something a miss, the bear lowers its head and notices a red magical circle beneath its feet.

But before it can comprehend, a massive pillar of fire engulfs it.

Instantly, several black spears pierce the flames.

The bear's form is impaled, and the agony reaching into its soul jolts it to clarity.

The crimson in its eyes fading into a semblance of understanding as it prepares to plead for mercy.

The surrounding flames suddenly vanish and the red magic circle morphs into a gray hue.

The bear, now pierced by the black spears and engulfed in eerie black flames, finds itself utterly powerless, collapsing to the ground.

The bear senses its vitality waning rapidly.

Indeed, the gray magic circle represents White used necromantic summoning magic.

Previously, Whiteu had been ins snared in a misconception, believing that this magic could only be used on corpses, thus deeming it harmless.

Yet, what if it were used on living beings? The answer is now evident.

While living creatures cannot be summoned, their life force can swiftly deteriorate until death ensues.

In other words, the necroantic summoning magic inflicts damage even upon the living, accompanied by a minor suppressive effect, preventing escape from the magic circle.

Had the bear been unscathed, it might have broken free instantly.

However, in its current weakened state, it remains trapped, awaiting its inevitable demise within the summoning circle.

The polar bear collapsed within the magic circle, breathing its last.

From the confines of the circle emerged a colossal skeletal demon which immediately plunged into the fray, rampaging against the surrounding ferocious beasts.

It was not that Bayou was unwilling to summon twice.

Rather, due to her current level of necroantic summoning magic, she was unable to invoke the corpses of commanding beings or higher in duplicate, permitting only a single summon.

Congratulations, Lord, for slaying the level one winter ice bear, earning 240 experience points.

Ah, the allure of double experience at night.
