They thought Han Sen had wings and was trying to lure the snake king out.
If he went down, it would have been impossible. If he fell into the snow, he would have been attacked by the ice snakes. There would have been no chance of survival.
But if he flew, he would have been in trouble. The ice snakes had the ability to fly. Although they could not fly high, as long as he was in the ice valley, he would not be able to escape their attack range.
That was why they thought Han Sen had a death wish.
But Han Sen walked into the valley. He didn't summon his wings to fly.
People who had practiced Jadeskin would not be afraid of poison. But Han Sen did not plan on letting the snakes bite him.
Stepping into the ice valley, Han Sen flew across the snow. His feet left little footprints in the snow. If one did not pay attention, they would not be able to see the footprints.
Half-step Cloud allowed one to borrow strength from thin air. The word "cloud" referred to the lightness of the body. If one practiced it to the max, it would not be difficult to walk across the snow without leaving a trace.
The evolvers outside were frozen. That skill was shocking, and they could not believe Han Sen was just an evolver.
Although Han Sen's movements were light, they still attracted the attention of the ice snakes nearby. Two of them emerged from the snow and flew towards Han Sen.
Their snow-white scales shone under the sun, and on both sides of their bodies, there was a pair of transparent snake wings. They were as thin as a cicada's, and they shone with a strange light. After their attack missed, they circled in the air and went for Han Sen again.
Han Sen had read about the ice snakes, and he knew they had wings. Although they couldn't fly very high, they had great gliding abilities. He didn't dare to slow down, and after dodging the bites of the two ice snakes, he continued on his way.
He didn't kill the two primitive ice snakes, either. His goal was to lure the silver-eyed ice snake king out. If he killed the two primitive ice snakes now, the smell of blood would attract the rest of the ice snakes out of the snow. That would only make things worse.
Ignoring the two ice snakes, Han Sen continued to fly forward. A few more ice snakes came out, but they were not much of a threat to him. Han Sen stepped on the snow and dodged the attacks of the ice snakes. He quickly went deeper into the valley.
The evolvers outside looked at each other and saw the surprise in each other's eyes. This kind of movement technique was already a special case among evolvers and was almost impossible to see.
"Do you think he can lure the silver-eye ice snake king out?"
An evolver looked at the silhouette in the snow valley with a strange expression and asked his companion beside him.
"It is hard to say. I cannot see through this person," another evolver answered.
"The higher-ups have asked us to collect more information on him. But if we report what we have seen and heard, I do not know if they will believe us." Another person gave a wry smile.
"I hope the higher-ups won't make us fall out with him. This person is really too scary. If I were to face him, I would feel uneasy at all times. Even if I have thousands of troops protecting me, I would still worry that my head would be taken away by him. That kind of movement technique is really terrifying."
"I hope not. Following him is not a bad thing. At least he is not as cruel and arrogant as Blackgod. Some things can be discussed."
Quickly, Han Sen disappeared from their sight. The snow mountain was a hundred miles long, and Han Sen knew that the silver-eye ice snake king was in an ice cave in the middle of the mountain. He was just going deeper.
After Han Sen went ten miles into the snow mountain, there were two or three hundred ice snakes chasing after him. But this was a good result. If he had killed one ice snake, the rest of the ice snakes in the valley would have been attracted to him.
"Weird. Didn't they say the ice cave was around thirty miles away? I have already walked forty miles, so why haven't I seen it yet?"
Han Sen felt strange. By the time he got there, there were already a thousand ice snakes chasing after him. Fortunately, his movement was light and fast, so the ice snakes could not catch him.
But after walking for so long, there were only thousand-meter-tall ice walls on either side. There was no ice cave.
According to the legends, the silver-eye ice snake king was very big. It was at least a hundred meters long. The ice cave it could enter would have to be one or two meters wide. There was no way he could not see it.
Han Sen ran another ten or twenty miles, but there was still no ice cave. There was also no sign of the snake king. He thought to himself, "Are they trying to trick me? Did they give me false information about the sacred-blood creature?"
But he did not think it was possible. The information was old, and they did not know Han Sen was going to kill the silver-eye ice snake king. How could they have done this before?
"Let's keep walking." Han Sen kept walking, but he noticed something strange.
The group of ice snakes, which had been attracted to him, suddenly seemed to have decreased in number. After a few miles, the ice snakes that had been following him had completely disappeared.
Han Sen's heart jumped, and he thought to himself, "Have I reached the territory of the silver-eye ice snake king? Is that why they do not dare to approach?"
Thinking about it, Han Sen did not think that was possible. If he had reached the territory of the silver-eye ice snake king, the ice snakes would have tried to protect it. They would not have retreated so easily.
Han Sen thought there was something strange going on in this ice valley. Perhaps something had happened that had caused this change.
Han Sen looked around, but he could no longer see the outside of the ice valley. There were no signs of the ice snakes slithering through the snow, either. The ice valley was eerily quiet.
The sun, which had been hanging in the sky, was now covered by dark clouds. Snowflakes were falling, and although they were not heavy, they gave off an indescribable sense of desolation.
There was no wind, and the snowflakes fell straight down. They blended in with the white snow, and the loneliness was frightening.
"Since I am here, I can't go back without seeing the silver-eye ice snake king." Han Sen was not going to give up, so he gritted his teeth and continued walking.
He had berserk sacred-blood wings, so he could escape. The ice snakes would not be able to stop him, so he was not afraid.
After walking for another twenty or so miles, they didn't even see a single Ice Snake. In front of them was an ice wall, and behind them were endless ice peaks. They were almost at the end of the Snow Valley.
Suddenly, Han Sen saw an ice cave appear in the ice wall. It was three meters high, but less than one meter wide. It looked very strange.
Seeing that no one was around, Han Sen summoned his gold armor and the glyph. He carefully walked into the ice cave.
