Chapter 586

Han Sen was curious to see a creature feed with its offspring. It was a sight that most people would never see in their entire lives.

While the snow turtles were eating, a bird's cry came from the sky. A strange bird that looked like a golden-winged roc noticed them. It swooped down and grabbed one of the snow turtles with its claws.

Blergh!

The Great Snow Tortoise spat out a mouthful of cold mist at the golden bird that was swooping down. Immediately, the golden bird froze into an ice sculpture and fell to the ground, shattering into pieces.

"Holy sh * t! A super creature!" Han Sen's eyes widened.

This was the first time he had ever seen a super creature with eight offspring. Han Sen didn't even dare to breathe too loudly, in fear of being discovered.

The Silver Fox was already so powerful, and now there was an old one with eight offspring. God knew what would happen if he became their enemy.

Looking at the broken gold bird, Han Sen felt a chill run down his spine. He didn't even dare to breathe. He used his Fetal Breath to hide his presence. He watched the nine turtles, one big one and eight small ones, eat.

After the little snow turtles ate some of the red mushrooms, their snow-white bodies were dyed red. They went from being snow-white and crystal-like to being a blood-red turtle.

The little Snow Tortoise was still too small, and it couldn't even eat a fist-sized mushroom. The Great Snow Tortoise, on the other hand, gobbled down a dozen fist-sized red mushrooms before its entire body turned blood-red.

It seemed as if the turtles were satisfied. The big turtle filled the hole with snow again and buried the red mushrooms. Then, it led the eight little turtles back to the ice pit.

Once the eight little snow turtles were in the water, the big snow turtle dove in as well. Then, it stuck its head out and spat out a mouthful of cold mist. Once again, a thick layer of ice covered the area. No one could tell what was underneath.

Han Sen waited for a while, and when he was sure nothing was going on, he ran over to the place where the turtles had been eating. He dug up the snow and saw red mushrooms that were around the size of a fist.

However, it would be more accurate to say that they looked more like mushrooms. Each of them was the size of a fist, and they were sparkling and translucent. They emitted waves of fragrance as if they were delicious.

Han Sen had learned how to identify plants from a botany professor. He took a closer look at the red mushrooms, and there were only three left. The rest had been eaten by the turtles.

But judging from the appearance of the red mushrooms, they did not seem to be poisonous. Still, there were many strange things about the plants in the sanctuaries, so he did not want to eat them.

Han Sen pulled out a bag and put one in. He didn't take too many, and he wanted to take it back to see if it could be useful.

After filling up the snow again, Han Sen summoned the Golden Howler and carried the body of the golden bird. It looked like it was a sacred-blood creature, and it had to be at least mutant class. He didn't want to waste it.

Back in the Crystal Palace, Han Sen asked Zero to cook some of the golden bird's meat. Then, he heard an announcement.

"Sacred-blood gold-wing bird meat eaten. Sacred geno points + 0."

Because he ate too little, Han Sen wasn't able to gain any sacred geno points. But he was happy. Although he hadn't been able to kill the red-scale dragon, it was nice to have a sacred-blood bird.

After eating the gold-wing bird meat, Han Sen didn't gain a single sacred geno point. There was still a lot of meat left, and Han Sen planned to eat it slowly. The bird wasn't very big, and he believed he could finish it in ten days or half a month.

Back in the Alliance, Han Sen found a way to contact Professor Sun Minghua.

Although Professor Sun Minghua had spent most of his life in the First God's Sanctuary, his knowledge of botany was unmatched.

Han Sen told him what the red mushrooms looked like, and he also told him about the turtles.

He wanted to ask for his help in determining if the red mushrooms were useful or not.

It was a shame he couldn't take the mushrooms out of the sanctuary. If he could, he could let Professor Sun take a look.

Professor Sun listened to Han Sen carefully and asked a few more questions. After a while, he said, "According to what you said, the red mushrooms should be very powerful."

"Professor Sun, is there any way to determine if these plants are good for humans?" Han Sen thought the turtle and the turtle both had the ability to find plants to eat.

If the super creatures ate something, it had to be something good.

But humans were different from creatures, and Han Sen didn't know if humans could eat them or not.

"In theory, the plants in the sanctuary have a lot of energy. They should be good for humans. But humans are different from creatures, so it's hard to say if the effect is good or bad."

Professor Sun paused, hesitated for a while, and then said, "There are some things that you should not say to others. Just don't say them out loud."

"I understand," Han Sen quickly said.

Professor Sun then said, "In fact, in the Third God's Sanctuary, you can use some magical plants to increase your geno points. But humans can't tell which plants are good for humans, and which are bad for humans. And the method of eating them is very important. If you don't eat them, you'll end up dying."

Han Sen heard something, and so he asked, "If humans can't tell what plants are good for, how do we know which plants can increase our geno points?"

"I can't say much about that. You'll understand when you go to the Third God's Sanctuary."

Professor Sun seemed to be worried, and so he didn't say much about it. He just told Han Sen a few simple ways to test out the effects of the red mushrooms.

Han Sen thought it was strange. There were a few hundred thousand surpassers, but there was very little information about the Third God's Sanctuary. Most surpassers didn't talk about it, and the Alliance didn't publicize it.

Now that Professor Sun didn't want to talk about it, Han Sen was even more curious about the Third God's Sanctuary.

But Han Sen's curiosity was pointless. He didn't know much about the Third God's Sanctuary, and he didn't know much about it.

Following the method Professor Sun taught him, Han Sen decided to feed the red mushrooms to other creatures to see if they worked.

"I wonder if the silver fox would be interested in the red mushrooms," Han Sen thought to himself.

Back in the Crystal Palace, Han Sen picked up the Silver Fox and placed the red mushrooms in front of it. He wanted to see its reaction.
