Han Sen was shocked to see the black phoenix fly across the sky. It was incredibly fast, and in the blink of an eye, it disappeared into the horizon.
However, waves of heatwaves descended from the sky and pounced on their bodies like tidal waves. Even their fine hairs were about to be scorched.
Fortunately, the phoenix bird didn't seem to be interested in them. It disappeared in a blink of an eye, but the direction it had disappeared in was the same direction they had been heading.
"Why don't we go in a different direction? It would be bad if we ran into that phoenix again," Zhou Yumei said with concern.
When the big bird flew past, Zhou Yumei could feel Little Orange's anxiety.
Han Sen shook his head and said, "We have to go in that direction."
He wanted to cross the Black Desert, so he couldn't go in a different direction. The phoenix bird didn't seem to be interested in him, and it was probably just passing by.
The two of them walked for another day, but they did not see the bird again. Zhou Yumei had forgotten about it. When night fell, Han Sen set up his tent. He planned to rest for the night before continuing.
"Why do you only have one tent? Where am I going to sleep?" Zhou Yumei asked with her big black eyes.
"We can sleep together. Or you can sleep outside," Han Sen said, and then went into the tent.
"You... you are so ungentlemanly." Zhou Yumei looked around at the dark desert. She gritted her teeth and followed Han Sen into the tent.
It was a simple tent, and one could only sit inside. The space was small, and with the silver fox and Little Orange crammed inside, Zhou Yumei could feel Han Sen's body heat even as she lay down next to him.
"I'm warning you; don't try anything funny," Zhou Yumei said to Han Sen, who was lying next to her.
"Don't worry; I lacked motherly love when I was young." Han Sen did not look at Zhou Yumei. He pulled out an old book from his backpack and started reading.
"What do you mean?" Zhou Yumei was shocked, and she did not know what Han Sen's words had to do with her.
"Nothing. I was just complimenting you for being young, pretty, and small," Han Sen said casually.
"You have good taste. But no matter how young and pretty I am, you can't..." Zhou Yumei lowered her head and said shyly.
But before she could finish her sentence, she looked at her breasts and realized something. Her face turned red, and she said, "Damn it! You are small!"
Han Sen put down the book and took off his T-shirt. Zhou Yumei was shocked, and she quickly fell back. She put her hands on her chest and asked, "What are you doing?"
Han Sen smiled and patted his chest, and then said, "It's not that big, but I think it's bigger than yours."
Zhou Yumei couldn't help but look at Han Sen's chest. It was broad and strong, and although it was not bulging, it was still very beautiful.
Plus, his abs were like jade, and his Apollo's belt. His skin was so white and smooth that any woman would go crazy over it. Zhou Yumei's saliva was about to drip out of her mouth. She wanted to reach out and touch him.
"Wipe your saliva and go to sleep. Don't disturb me at night."
Han Sen put his hand on Zhou Yumei's head and pushed her away. She was almost in front of him, so he went to lie down in his sleeping bag.
Zhou Yumei wanted to argue, but she lowered her head and looked at her breasts. She then thought about Han Sen's broad chest and strong muscles. She realized she had lost to Han Sen when it came to beauty. She couldn't argue with him.
Zhou Yumei was depressed, so she retreated back into her sleeping bag. She felt like her life was going to be bleak, but when she thought about Han Sen's perfect upper body, his beautiful muscles, his sexy collarbones, and his Apollo's belt, she couldn't help but gulp. She closed her eyes, and her mind was filled with the image of his body.
Zhou Yumei turned her head and looked at Han Sen. She saw that Han Sen's eyes were closed, and he was fast asleep. She could see his face from the side. It wasn't beautiful, but his face was very sharp. He looked a bit fierce, but because his skin was so white and soft, it softened his fierceness and made him look very manly.
Zhou Yumei thought of Han Sen's body, and she couldn't take her eyes off him. She then thought of how strong Han Sen was, and how he was able to fight back against a spirit like that. He had also defeated the fairy and the purple scorpion. Zhou Yumei was mesmerized by what she saw.
But when she thought about the ring on Han Sen's left hand, she sighed and said, "Why do all the good things get taken by others?"
"What did you say?" Han Sen frowned and looked at Zhou Yumei.
Zhou Yumei's face turned red. She was too excited, and she didn't expect to speak her mind aloud. She blushed and tried to explain herself, saying, "No... nothing..."
While Zhou Yumei was in a state of panic, she saw Han Sen turn around and get close to her. Suddenly, she could feel the heat of a man's presence approaching Zhou Yumei.
Zhou Yumei's heart was in turmoil, and she thought to herself, "What is he doing?
What should I do?
He is engaged, and I should reject him. But... no! Zhou Yumei, how can you be so weak? You can't be seduced by his beauty. You have to be firm. But he is such a good man. If I grab him now, I might still have a chance... "
Zhou Yumei's mind flashed with countless thoughts, but Han Sen was already so close to her. He covered her mouth with his hand and pressed his body against hers.
"I am no match for him, so there is no point in fighting back. I am just a weak woman, so how can I resist his power?"
Zhou Yumei found an excuse for herself, and then she relaxed. She looked at Han Sen's beautiful body and blushed. She closed her eyes and thought to herself, "There is no one here. Why are you covering my mouth? Even if I scream until my throat is broken, no one will come to save me. Plus, I didn't want to scream."
Zhou Yumei's heart was racing, but after a while, she did not see the storm she had been expecting. She felt strange, and so she opened her eyes a little. She shyly peeked out and saw Han Sen covering her mouth with one hand and opening the zipper of the tent. He was peering out through a small gap.
Zhou Yumei's face felt like it was on fire. She wished she could find a hole to hide in. Even her neck was red.
Han Sen peeked out through the gap of the tent, and he saw that the Black Desert was shrouded in light. It was like dandelions were growing in the desert, and there was no end to them. A wind blew, and the light began to float. They were like dancing dandelions in the night.
