Han Sen reached out his hand to catch Queen. He didn't let her fall to the ground. Then, he lifted her body and examined her wounds.
Queen's body was covered in terrible wounds, and the sacred-blood armor Han Sen had given her was in tatters. Pieces of it clung to her body like scrap metal.
Her inner clothes had long been torn apart, revealing large patches of skin, but it would not cause anyone to have any fanciful thoughts.
Her body was littered with scars.
Some of them were black, while others had scabbed over.
Others looked like flesh had been ripped out of her body, exposing her bones.
Old and new scars were intertwined, and there was not a single part of her body that was untouched.
Especially the wound on her abdomen, where one could see her organs.
It looked as if they were going to burst out at any moment.
"This woman is desperate."
Han Sen shook his head. He was a desperate person, but compared to Queen, he was nothing.
He cast a healing holy light on Queen, but it was not very effective. Queen's body was already pretty good, and his holy light was just a simulation of the holy rhino's power. It could heal small injuries, but it was not very effective on such serious injuries.
"There's no other way. Just bear with it."
Han Sen had no choice but to imitate the silver fox's lightning powers. He cast a silver bolt of lightning on Queen.
"Okay."
The unconscious Queen's body was covered in silver lightning. She woke up from the pain. Her body kept twitching, but she didn't scream. She just gritted her teeth and groaned in pain.
"Hang in there. This lightning has healing powers. It's the only way to heal your wounds." Han Sen did not stop casting lightning, and he continued to strike Queen.
Her tattered clothes were charred, and her body was covered in wounds. Under the power of the lightning, the wounds healed quickly.
Queen was the most patient woman Han Sen had ever met. Han Sen had been healed by the silver fox a couple of times before, and even he couldn't help but scream. Queen, on the other hand, had only grunted a few times.
Normal wounds would heal very quickly under the silver lightning, but Queen's injuries were too severe. For example, the wound on her abdomen still required continuous electric shocks to heal slowly.
After an hour of continuous electric shocks, even Han Sen felt pain for Queen, but Queen forced herself to endure it.
"Alright, the rest of your wounds will be healed after a few days. Soak in the healing liquid when we return to the Alliance."
Han Sen saw that the wound was no longer a problem, and he did not want to let Queen suffer any longer. She could teleport back to the Alliance to be healed.
"Continue, heal my wounds." The Empress's teeth were chattering, but her tone was still firm and unshakable.
"Returning to the Alliance for treatment is the same," Han Sen said.
"This is faster. Continue," the Empress said calmly.
Looking at the calm face of the Empress, Han Sen helplessly shook his head. A bolt of lightning struck her body again.
Half an hour later, the wounds on Queen's body had finally healed completely. Even the scars had fallen off, leaving only crisscrossing light red marks.
The Empress summoned a beast soul armor to wear. She looked at Han Sen and asked, "Is your body healed?"
"Almost. There is still a small problem, but it won't affect me much." Han Sen did not plan on hiding anything from the Empress, and he had already shown her his power.
The Empress nodded and turned around to leave the shelter. It looked as if she was going to continue hunting.
Han Sen quickly stopped her and said, "Don't go yet. There is something I need to discuss with you."
The Empress stopped and turned around to look at Han Sen. It was as if she was waiting for Han Sen to speak.
"Now that my body is almost healed, I am going to leave the barren lands and go to the shelter I used to live in. Would you like to come with me?" Han Sen asked.
The Empress nodded and said, "Okay."
Han Sen thought he would have to explain himself, but the Empress had agreed so quickly. It made the excuse he had prepared useless.
Han Sen coughed and asked, "What happened to you?"
The Empress said, "I was in a broken shelter on the west side of the barren lands. I wanted to use the teleporter there to return to the Alliance, but as soon as I entered, I was attacked by a group of creatures."
After Han Sen asked her to tell him the details, he fell into deep thought.
The Empress had not been in the Third God's Sanctuary for long, but her geno points had increased a lot. With the beast souls Han Sen had given her, even if she encountered a sacred-blood creature, she would be able to escape.
If a group of creatures could injure her so badly, there had to be a sacred-blood creature among them.
However, according to Queen, she had just triggered a group of creatures and ran back, but a sacred-blood creature chased after her and almost killed her, which was quite scary.
If the Empress had not been lucky enough to encounter the king of the creatures, there might have been a super creature among them.
"Let's go. Take me to that shelter."
If there was a super creature in the barren lands, that would be great. He had been worried about finding a super creature, and he was worried that he wouldn't be able to find one.
The Bao'er, seeing Han Sen leave the shelter, quickly climbed onto Han Sen's back and looked around with excitement.
Han Sen had been there for too long, and the Bao'er seemed to want to leave.
The Empress led Han Sen to the west side of the barren lands. After walking for half an hour, they saw the body of a creature.
The creature was the size of an adult wolf. Its body was covered in a purple shell, and it looked like a mantis. It had two scythe-like arms, and there were many spikes.
"This is the creature?" Han Sen saw that the creature's body had been punctured, and it was clear that the creature had been killed by the Empress.
Queen nodded and said, "Devil-Blood Mantis. It's a primitive creature. I only killed one mutant."
The two of them continued walking, and along the way, they saw the corpses of mantises. Queen had killed thirty of them, so the battle must have been fierce.
With the speed of Golden Howler, it only took them two hours to reach the shelter Queen had mentioned.
Like the other shelters in the barren lands, this one looked very dilapidated, and it was obvious that no spirit had taken care of it.
But the mantises Queen had mentioned were nowhere to be seen. It seemed as if they had all returned to the shelter.
"Wait here; I'll go take a look," Han Sen said.
"I'll go with you," the Empress said as she followed him.
"Okay." Han Sen nodded and summoned Disloyal Knight to lead the way.
