The Blood-Pulse Sutra's geno core looked exactly like Han Sen's own. It was like a miniature version of Han Sen.
While Han Sen was still in shock, the geno core began to change.
Han Sen felt as if he was watching a movie. The geno core that had become Han Sen became younger. It went from a young man to a teenager, and then from a teenager to a child. Then from a child to a baby, and from a baby to a fetus. In the end, it became a drop of red blood.
Self Geno Core: Bronze Real Blood
Han Sen was speechless. It wasn't that the geno core was powerful, but Han Sen didn't even know what Real Blood was used for. Watching his own life being rewound would have been shocking.
"Child, you have to walk your own path. This is all I can do to help you."
The words on the tablet gathered together to form a man in white clothes. But this time, the shadow was facing Han Sen. Han Sen could see the man's face clearly.
Han Sen was sure he had never seen this man before. He was very handsome, but there was something very proud about him. He didn't look like Han Sen's father, grandfather, or great-grandfather.
He didn't look like Han Sen, either. It didn't seem as if they were related.
"Who are you?
The leader of Blood Legion? "
Han Sen knew it was just a shadow and not the person's real body. So, he didn't have to worry too much about it and just asked loudly.
The white-robed man smiled and nodded slightly. "Remember, fate is determined by the heavens. Everything depends on man. Your fate is up to you, not the heavens."
After saying that, the figure condensed by the light faded away and disappeared without a trace. There was nothing left on the stone tablet.
All of a sudden, all the plants in the shelter seemed to come alive. They looked at the tablet and cried. It was as if they were mourning the death of a loved one.
"The leader of Blood Legion looks like a human, but he doesn't feel like a human. He feels more like a spirit. It looks like Blood Legion was created by spirits, not humans," Han Sen thought to himself.
It was fortunate that he had practiced Blood-Pulse Sutra and Life Door. If he hadn't, he'd have been mistaken for a member of Blood Legion. Otherwise, he'd have died in such a place.
The only thing that confused Han Sen was the fact that the Nine-Life Cat was a relic of Blood Legion. Why didn't it react to this place?
If the man in white clothes was really the leader of Blood Legion, the Nine-Life Cat should have been his. With the cat's intelligence, there was no way it wouldn't react.
Han Sen was confused, but the leader of Blood Legion was gone. He couldn't get an answer.
He turned around and looked at the plants that were crying tears of blood. As he wondered where he should go next, the plants suddenly moved. They opened a path for him, as if they were showing him the way.
"If the man in white clothes thinks I'm the heir of Blood Legion, these plants won't harm me, will they?" Han Sen thought to himself, as he followed the path the plants had made.
Han Sen followed the path, and it didn't take long for him to exit the garden. Han Sen didn't come out the way he had entered. After exiting the garden, he saw a giant palace.
In front of the palace, there was a bronze coffin. The surface of the coffin was engraved with strange symbols. Han Sen didn't know what they meant, but Han Sen could see a small creature lying on top of the coffin.
The creature's fur was like fire, and its head and tail were connected to each other. It looked as if it was sleeping.
"This must be where the people of Outer Sky Shelter came from. The creature on top of the coffin really does look like the Nine-Life Cat," Han Sen thought to himself.
While Han Sen was wondering, the Nine-Life Cat pendant started to heat up on his chest. It was as if it was urging him to hurry up and go over there.
Han Sen wanted to take the pendant out of his armor to take a closer look, but he suddenly heard footsteps approaching. He turned around and saw Mister Li, Old Qiu, Xu Yanmeng, Wang Zhao, and Zhong Sanxiao. They were all together, and they had come through a door.
"Han Sen?" Mister Li was surprised to see Han Sen.
"I'm so glad you're okay. I was worried you'd be killed by the wolves," Mister Li said.
"Thank you for your concern, Mister Li," Han Sen said.
Mister Li then asked, "How did you get away from the wolves?
And how did you end up here? "
"I don't know. There were too many of them, so I ran into a stone statue forest. I was lucky enough to escape the wolves, and I crossed a garden to reach this place." Han Sen then asked, "Mister Li, how did you get here?"
"We did the same. You, a demi-god with a bronze geno core, were lucky enough to escape the wolves." Xu Yanmeng did not believe Han Sen's story.
Those giant wolves were very strong. Although they had not reached the level of sacred-blood creatures, they were stronger than ordinary mutant creatures.
In a one-on-one fight, the wolves were no match for Mister Li and the others, but the wolves seemed to know how to use formations. Mister Li and the others were almost killed by the wolves, and although they managed to escape with some injuries, they were able to do so.
But Han Sen had a bronze geno core, and he had escaped unscathed. Xu Yanmeng wasn't the only one who doubted Han Sen's abilities, either.
Han Sen did not bother explaining, and he simply pointed to the coffin and said, "Is that the coffin?"
Mister Li and the others looked at the coffin. They were surprised to see Han Sen there, and they didn't even have time to look around.
Now that they saw the ancient bronze coffin and the sleeping little beast on top of it, their expressions changed.
The last time they came here, they were all dead, and they did not know if they could make it back alive.
"It looks like this is it." Mister Li's eyes stared at the little beast on top of the coffin, and his expression changed a lot.
"Mister Li, what do you think we should do now?"
Zhong Sanxiao looked at Mister Li and said respectfully. It was different from before. It seemed that something had happened to Mister Li on the way, and it made them respect Mister Li as much as Xu Yan Meng.
