"Is there a problem here?" Han Sen frowned and looked around. He didn't see anything out of the ordinary.
God's Retribution looked serious, and he said, "There is something very wrong with this place. I have been here before, and the flowers are scary. Do not touch them."
"These flowers are weird," Six Paths said, looking at the colorful flowers. "They are beautiful, but they don't seem to be alive."
"What happens if we touch them?" Han Sen asked.
God's Retribution laughed and said, "I accidentally touched a red flower. I had to weaken my finger to save my life. If you are interested, you can give it a try."
Han Sen looked at God's Retribution's hand and noticed it was still fine. It had probably grown back, but he wasn't sure if he was telling the truth.
But if God's Retribution said that, Han Sen didn't want to touch the flowers.
"The best thing to do now is to let your pet, no, Little Star take us away from here. Its body won't touch anything, so these flowers won't do anything to it," God's Retribution said.
Han Sen nodded. That was the only way. There weren't many flowers around, but Little Star's body was too big. If they walked normally, they would touch a few.
Everyone sat back down on Starsea Beast's back. Han Sen looked around and asked God's Retribution, "If you have been here before, where should we go to get out of here?"
"I have only been to this area, but I have never been here. I don't know where to go." God's Retribution shrugged.
Six Paths didn't say anything, either. He didn't know where they were, either.
Six Paths was a natural-born emperor, and this was the first time he had been able to enter this place.
"Then we'll have to try our luck." Han Sen pointed in a random direction and let Starsea Beast take them.
In the hazy starlight, Starsea Beast passed through the glaciers and flowers. These things couldn't touch them, so they weren't in any danger.
But as they walked, Han Sen and the others felt that something was wrong. When they passed through the glacier, they saw that there were more and more flowers around them.
"Brother, you're going in the wrong direction. There are more and more flowers. We're going deeper," God's Retribution said.
"Like I said, it's just a matter of luck. If it doesn't work out, you have to choose a direction," Han Sen said, spreading out his hands.
"This way." God's Retribution pointed.
Han Sen had Starsea Beast follow the direction of God's Finger. But not long after, Han Sen noticed that there were more flowers than before. They could even see a flower field.
"Hurry up and turn back. We can't go any further. There are more and more flowers here." The little fairy hurriedly said.
But then, Starsea Beast's starlight dimmed, and his body started to materialize.
Han Sen immediately checked the Starsea Beast's body, and discovered that its aura had become much weaker. It seemed that this kind of teleportation had consumed a lot of its aura, and it was about to collapse.
Han Sen told Starsea Beast to find a place where there were no flowers to be found and stop.
"Oh, no. We can't go back now."
God's Retribution looked around. Aside from the small area they were standing on, which was the size of a basketball court, there were flowers everywhere.
Unless they could fly out from the sky, it would be too difficult to avoid touching those flowers.
Han Sen and the others were fine, but Starsea Beast was so big. Without the protection of a teleportation ability, they'd definitely touch the flowers.
As for flying out, it wasn't impossible. However, when they looked at the strange clouds in the sky, they gave up on the idea.
According to the little fairy's information, they couldn't fly too high in God's Ruin. They couldn't cross the glaciers, either. If they did, the clouds would unleash a scary power. Many creatures that had entered God's Ruin in the past had been killed by the clouds.
Han Sen and the others were discussing what to do next, but suddenly, they saw something appear in the sky. Not long after, eleven giant seahorses made of Xuan Ice flew across the sky. Behind them, they were pulling a big, black furnace. The furnace's vent was emitting icy flames. It was very strange.
"What are those?" God's Retribution had never seen the Xuan Seahorses before, so he frowned and asked.
Six Paths looked at the Xuan Seahorses in the sky, as if he was thinking of something.
Han Sen had seen them before, but he didn't know what they were.
This was different from the last time they saw them. This time, there were only the Xuan Seahorses. There were no ordinary Xuan Seahorses. Han Sen didn't know if something had happened to them, or if they were staying in the frozen forest.
"If they can fly, why can't we? Why don't we try to fly?" God's Retribution looked at the Xuan Seahorses.
Han Sen wasn't so optimistic, though. He shook his head and said, "You can try. Let's wait here for Little Star to recover, then we can go back."
God's Retribution was tempted, but in the end, he held himself back. His ability to fly was terrible, and he couldn't even really fly. It would be more accurate to call it jumping.
The eleven Xuan Seahorses pulled the furnace away, but Six Paths was still looking in the direction they had disappeared. He frowned, as if he had thought of something.
"Six Paths, do you recognize the Black Seahorses and the Iron Cauldron?" Han Sen wasn't blind, and he could tell Six Paths was thinking of something, so he asked.
Six Paths paused for a moment, then said, "Have you heard of the Fourth God's Sanctuary? There was a big fight, and many powerful beings participated in it. Many emperors and berserk creatures were killed in it."
"I've heard of it," Han Sen said. "I've also heard that the super elites who survived signed a Hundred Race Treaty. Is that the war?"
Six Paths nodded and said, "It was that fight. I wasn't born yet, so I don't know much about the details. But I did hear a berserk super creature who participated in the fight say that it was over a treasure. Most of the people who participated in the fight never saw the treasure, though. They were just dragged into it by their friends or kin."
No one spoke, and they waited for Six Paths to continue. They knew Six Paths wouldn't bring up the war for no reason.
Six Paths paused, and then he went on to say, "I know a berserk super creature. He was one of the few that saw the treasure. He said it was a big, black furnace."
Everyone's heart skipped a beat, and they couldn't help but think: "Could it be that big iron cauldron?"
