Chapter 1649

Han Sen almost coughed up the blood he had just swallowed. He thought there was something wrong with his ears.

Shouldn't these words only be said by those who had just graduated and left school?

She was a crystallizer, and she had geno armor. She wanted to live under someone else's roof, and she wanted to adapt to society. Han Sen's face looked strange.

"Don't worry, I won't stay here for free. When I get used to society, I'll work and pay you back," the man said.

Han Sen coughed and said, "Brother, that's not a problem. You can stay here for as long as you want. My family is rich, and I don't need your help. But I have a question. This system is very far from the Alliance, and there are no routes. I want to return from the sanctuaries. Can you come with me?"

The man shook his head and said, "I can't go to the sanctuaries, but if you tell me where, I can use my geno armor to fly there."

"You won't get into trouble, will you?" Han Sen asked with concern.

This was an elite that could destroy planets. The barren system might not be able to kill him, but if he entered the Alliance and got into a fight with someone, things could get messy.

The man smiled and said, "Don't worry. I am a soldier, and I have my own rules. You humans are a part of the crystallizers, so I won't hurt you."

"That's not what I meant. What I meant was, why don't you wait here for a while? I'll get you an official ID when I get back. Then, I'll come and pick you up. What do you think?" Han Sen said.

"That's fine." The man nodded. He seemed to have a good temper.

"What is your name?" Han Sen asked.

"My name is Stay Up Late," the man answered naturally.

"Stay Up Late?" Han Sen was confused. He didn't know there was a name like that, but he didn't know if it was real or not.

Seeing that Stay Up Late had a good temper, Han Sen didn't want to let go of this opportunity. He asked, "Stay Up Late, did the crystallizers create the sanctuaries?

What are you creating shelters for? "

Stay Up Late shook his head and said, "Half and half. The sanctuaries exist, and we crystallizers are just using them. We wanted to leave them a way out, but now it looks like they are the last hope of the crystallizers."

"What do you mean?" Han Sen did not understand and continued to ask.

Stay Up Late said, "The universe is more complicated than you humans think. The universe you are in is part of the sanctuaries, so we are still in the sanctuaries. But if we leave the sanctuaries …"

Stay Up Late did not continue. Han Sen's heart jumped, and he asked, "What happens when we leave the sanctuary?"

"You already know what happened to the crystallizers," Stay Up Late said with a dark expression.

Han Sen's expression changed. "Are you saying that there are stronger races in the universe? Races that are stronger than the Crystallizers?"

Stay Up Late gave a wry smile and said, "Have you ever wondered why the sanctuaries are called sanctuaries?"

Han Sen's face changed. People had researched this question before, but the answers they came up with were all sorts of weird. There were all sorts of explanations.

One of the most popular theories was that the sanctuaries trapped powerful creatures, and that was how the sanctuaries maintained the peace of the universe.

But now, it seemed like the creatures in the sanctuaries were protected by the sanctuaries, and that included humans.

Han Sen asked a few more questions, but Stay Up Late was annoyed. He said to Han Sen, "Let's put it this way. The sanctuaries are like a kindergarten."

Han Sen froze for a while, and then he understood what Stay Up Late meant. But when he asked him why, Stay Up Late said he did not know. He did not answer Han Sen's questions.

Han Sen did not know what to do, but he thought there would be plenty of opportunities in the future to find out more.

"It is a shame I soaked in this geno fluid for so long that it has lost its effectiveness. Otherwise, I could purify your body and give you a God's Baptism." Stay Up Late looked at the fluid and sighed.

"By the way, you said humans are a branch of the crystallizers. What does that mean?" Han Sen was not in the mood to care about the geno fluid, so he asked Stay Up Late.

Stay Up Late shook his head and did not answer Han Sen. He pointed to the path and said, "Go back and pick me up."

Han Sen could not get anything out of him, so he followed Stay Up Late's instructions and returned to the Martial Hall.

After returning, Han Sen was not in the mood to do anything else. He found someone to get him a legal Alliance citizen and bought a house on another planet.

He did not dare keep Stay Up Late near him. Before he reached the Fifth God's Sanctuary, Han Sen would not be able to beat him. Keeping him in his own home was like placing a ticking time bomb.

Although Stay Up Late didn't look like a bad person, he didn't want to hurt anyone. So, he didn't buy it on his own planet.

After preparing everything, Han Sen drove the beetle to pick up Stay Up Late. Fortunately, he had the beetle and a complete star map. Without it, even an Alliance fleet would not have been able to reach the planet safely.

Han Sen drove the beetle and brought Stay Up Late back to the Alliance. He put him in a new house and stayed with him for a few days. He taught him how to live in the Alliance.

But when Han Sen found an excuse to leave the planet and return to his house, he saw Stay Up Late standing in front of his door.

"Why are you here?" Han Sen asked coldly.

"Don't worry. I mean you no harm. If I wanted to kill someone, I don't think any human could stop me. Am I right?" Stay Up Late smiled.

"Then what do you mean?" Han Sen opened his hands.

"My job was to guard the control room and observe the information of the first Son of God. Since you are the first Son of God, I have a responsibility to observe you. So, please let me stay in your house," Stay Up Late said.

"Why are you observing me?" Han Sen looked depressed.

"I am looking for someone who might qualify," Stay Up Late answered.

"What do you mean by qualified?"

Han Sen's heart jumped. He had seen something similar in the diary. If he guessed correctly, the diary was left behind by another crystallizer. She was looking for someone who might qualify, too.

It seemed as if qualified people were very important to the crystallizers.

"A qualified person is a qualified person," Stay Up Late said in a dull voice.

Han Sen could not beat him, so he took Stay Up Late home.
