Han Sen thought he would have a few days of free time, but not long after, he received an order from the elders. They wanted him to take a team to a newly discovered xenogeneic space. They had to explore the xenogeneic space as much as possible, and if possible, they were to bring back some resources.
Because only Marquise and below could enter that xenogeneic space, Phyllostachys Longipes was supposed to lead the team. But Phyllostachys Longipes had gone to Hidden Path Cave to practice. So, Han Sen was the one to lead the team.
Han Sen received information about the xenogeneic space he called Metal World. He learned that Sky Palace wasn't the only organization that had discovered Metal World. A few other factions had discovered it, and they were all exploring it. Sky Palace was too late.
According to the information he had gathered, the Dragons, the Demons, the Destroyed, and the Buddha had entered Metal World. With Sky Palace involved, the situation in Metal World was complicated.
There was no time for Han Sen to prepare, though. Han Sen was led by an elder of Sky Palace. He led a hundred Marquise students to Metal World.
On this trip to Metal World, they had to follow the elder's orders. Once they entered Metal World, the hundred Marquise students would have to listen to Han Sen's commands. That meant their lives were in Han Sen's hands.
Although Han Sen was only an Earl, Sky Palace's orders were absolute. And Han Sen was famous in Sky Palace, so no one objected to Han Sen being the leader.
Before entering Metal World, the elder gave Han Sen some information. It contained information about the Marquise students. A few of the Marquises had been drawn, and they had different powers. They were going to be important helpers on this trip.
Han Sen led the hundred Marquises into Metal World. The xenogeneic space was a single planet, and there was a strange power outside. It repelled creatures above Marquise class.
The scariest thing about it was that the planet had a strange magnetic field. Metal was sucked into the planet, and no metal equipment could be used. Ships could not enter, either.
Han Sen held Bao 'er as they sat atop the red cloud. He led the hundred Marquises into the planet.
From the outside, the planet looked like it was enveloped in a strange electromagnetic storm. It was like a cloud.
After passing through the electromagnetic storm, they saw a colorful planet in front of them.
When Han Sen and the others approached the planet, they understood why it was called Metal World. The mountains and rivers were filled with metal.
It was not strange that the mountains and earth were made of metal. What was strange was that even the animals and plants here had metal bodies. Everything here was made of metal. It was indeed a very magical place.
"Brother Yuya, where do you think we should start exploring?" Han Sen looked at a Marquise student and asked politely.
Yuya Marquise was one of the best Marquises in Sky Palace. Aside from Phyllostachys Longipes, he was the strongest Marquise. He often went to explore xenogeneic spaces for Sky Palace, so he had a lot of experience.
Yuya did not refuse. He looked around and said to Han Sen, "We don't know where the other races are, but they should have seen us when we came in.
So, exploring the planet is not our priority. We need to find the other races. We need to find a safe place to set up camp. We need to stay alive. "
"Brother Yuya is right. I am being reckless. Where do you think would be the safest place to set up camp?" Han Sen asked.
Yuya saw that Han Sen wasn't going to make a decision on his own, so he recommended a Marquise to Han Sen. "You can give this to Brother Yunyi. He is the best at this."
"Senior Brother Yunyi, I'll leave it to you."
Han Sen knew that this sort of thing should be left to the professionals. Sky Palace had asked him to be the leader and commander, not Superman. He was supposed to be the leader of the team, and that was what he should be doing.
Otherwise, Metal World was an unknown place. If they were in danger, even if he could escape safely, he wouldn't be able to explain himself to the one hundred Marquises.
Plus, the other factions were not to be trifled with, either. There was a good chance they would do something to Han Sen. They had been there for a while, and they were familiar with the place. They might have used that advantage to plot against Han Sen.
Han Sen realized that Sky Palace had a lot of talented people. They were all very good. Han Sen and the others were able to establish themselves in Metal World. They set up camp and scoured the area. They set up a temporary alarm system and emergency measures.
But what surprised Han Sen the most was the fact that they had scoured the area for a hundred miles. Aside from ordinary metal animals and plants, there was not a single xenogeneic to be found. Nor were there any Marquises from the other races.
There was no day or night, and the environment was very bad. But the Marquises were there, so the environment wasn't a threat to them.
The electromagnetic storm in the sky continued, flashing with blue brilliance, illuminating the planet. There was no lack of light.
Han Sen, Yuya, and a few other Marquises were in the camp, discussing what they should do next. Suddenly, the electromagnetic storm in the sky changed color. It was blue, but now, it was pink. It was very pretty.
Dong!
Dong!
Suddenly, a loud noise sounded in their ears. The metal trees around them started to shake. It was like an earthquake had struck.
Not long after, Han Sen saw a ten-meter-tall metal rhino with a horn emerge from the metal forest. That was just the beginning, though. More and more metal rhinos were coming. There were at least a thousand of them, and they were all heading for a mercury-like river.
Han Sen was glad he had listened to Yunyi. He hadn't set up camp near the river. If he had, he would have had to face the metal rhinos.
The metal rhinos looked very powerful. Although Han Sen didn't know how strong they were, it wouldn't be a good idea to start a fight with them in such an unknown place.
Yunyi looked at the metal rhinos and said, "They should be metal lifeforms. Judging from their presence, they should be Marquises. I don't know if they are xenogeneics, but they shouldn't be very intelligent."
"That's strange. When we were exploring the area, we didn't find them. Where did they come from?" Bai Zhen, who had followed along, asked with a frown.
