Han Sen looked around the nest, but he didn't see any other exit. He wasn't in a rush, though, so he let Little Star out of Destiny's Tower.
"Little Star, it's up to you." Han Sen jumped onto Little Star's back.
"Woo!
Woo! "Little Star barked. Its body started to glow with starlight. Its body and Han Sen, who was riding on its back, became blurry. They went through the rocks.
Ten minutes after Little Star left, Edward's figure appeared outside the lair. After quickly entering the lair, he looked around the lair carefully.
"Is he not here?"
Edward frowned. He was confident in his judgment, but he was surprised to see that Han Sen was nowhere to be seen.
"What a difficult guy. Normally, when a creature goes to a place, its body will exchange with the materials around it. It will leave behind a trail, but he didn't leave a single trace. How did he do that?" Edward frowned as he looked around.
Although he couldn't find any trace of Han Sen, Edward still believed that Han Sen had been there.
"The trail ends here. It looks like I will have to find another way."
Edward looked around the nest one last time. His eyes stopped on a mountain wall, and then he left the nest.
With Little Star's help, Han Sen went through the rock layer. He traveled quickly through the rocks, and after a few hundred miles, he found an underground cave.
Han Sen told Little Star to stop and rest for a while. Then, he looked around the cave.
"Edward won't be able to track me for a while, but I can't escape now. I need to figure out what that stone plate is." Han Sen looked around, and he noticed that the underground cave was quite complicated.
There were no xenogeneics in that small area, so Han Sen sat down and rested. He thought about what to do next.
"The value of that stone plate is unimaginable. Only a few people know about its benefits. The leaders of the Extreme King don't know about it. At the very least, Bai King doesn't know about it. Otherwise, Ice Blue Knight King wouldn't have disobeyed the king's orders and sent me back to the Extreme King. That would have been like giving the stone plate to Bai King."
As Han Sen was thinking, he suddenly heard a noise coming from one of the tunnels. It sounded as if something was crawling.
Han Sen looked at the tunnel with caution. He used his Dongxuan Aura, and he could feel a lifeforce approaching.
But that lifeforce wasn't very strong. That made Han Sen feel a lot safer.
The noise was getting closer, and not long after, Han Sen saw a weird xenogeneic crawl out of the tunnel.
The fur on its body was very smooth, and its black fur was a little shiny. Its body was only the size of a cat, but its appearance was like a big-eyed thief. Its pair of eyes were especially big, and black like gems.
Han Sen looked at the xenogeneic, and the xenogeneic looked back at him. The two of them stared at each other.
Then, Han Sen saw the xenogeneic ignore him. It turned around and crawled into another tunnel. Its tail and butt wriggled as it moved forward.
Han Sen was shocked. He saw that the xenogeneic's tail was wearing something that looked like a bracelet.
But the bracelet wasn't on its hand. It was on its tail. It was made of white metal, and it fit perfectly to its tail. It didn't look like it had been put on randomly.
Han Sen used his Purple-Eye Butterfly to take a closer look, and he noticed that there were some small words on it.
"Sacred General Ghost Bone!" Han Sen's eyes opened wide. He quickly followed the little xenogeneic beast.
"Is this guy related to General Ghost Bone?
It doesn't look like it. Its presence is too weak. It is at most a Viscount xenogeneic. Even if General Ghost Bone wanted a pet, he wouldn't have such a weak one. "Han Sen wasn't in a rush to capture the xenogeneic beast. He just followed it.
The little beast wasn't afraid of him, and it just kept walking forward. It didn't walk very fast, and it looked like it was just taking a stroll.
Han Sen patiently followed it. He thought to himself, "That ancient city is called Ghost Bone Town, but the Ghost Bone Statue is only there to guard the door. There is a Human King statue in the hall, and there is a stone on top of the statue's head. What does that mean?"
The little beast walked for an hour, and then it came to an underground river. It lay down and drank.
"Did this guy come all the way here just to drink some water?" Han Sen felt a bit depressed.
At this time, the little beast seemed to have had its fill of water. It jumped into the underground river. It lay on the surface of the water like an otter and drifted away.
Han Sen put away Little Star and followed it.
But it didn't take long for the river to sink completely into the ground. The little xenogeneic creature sank with it. Han Sen gritted his teeth and jumped into the water. He activated his Purple-Eye Butterfly and used it to track the little creature's movements.
The underground water flowed quickly, and fortunately, Han Sen didn't find any water-type xenogeneics. He followed the river for a few hundred miles, but there was no end.
However, the little beast that was floating along the water suddenly swam towards the stone wall at the side while waving its four legs.
Han Sen looked over, and he saw a small hole in the wall. It was about the size of a bowl, and the little beast swam into it.
Han Sen's body was too big, and he couldn't get through it. He called Little Star out and had Little Star take him through the wall.
Han Sen quickly discovered that the small hole wasn't an ordinary stone hole. It was a metal pipe.
"Why would there be a manmade metal pipe here?" Han Sen was very surprised by this discovery.
The little beast swam along the metal pipe, and Han Sen rode Little Star to follow it. After traveling three thousand meters, Little Star came out of the stone wall.
Han Sen looked around, and he was shocked. He was in an underground palace, and the metal pipe was coming out of the mouth of a giant fish statue. Water was coming out of the mouth of the fish statue, and it flowed into a pool below.
The pool was made of a stone that looked like white jade. The water kept flowing, and the water was very clear. He could see the bottom of the pool.
But when Han Sen looked over, he froze. In the pool, there was a black and white doppelganger looking at him.
Han Sen looked down, and suddenly, he felt his nose heat up. He felt like it was going to bleed.
