As for eating it himself, Han Sen wasn't going to do something as rash as that.
There were many scary xenogeneics in Outer Sky, but deified xenogeneics rarely appeared near the Very High's home.
Full Moon River was one such place. Although there were no deified xenogeneics there, there were many King class xenogeneics. It was the perfect place for Han Sen to capture a xenogeneic for testing.
